“SOAVE GUITAR FESTIVAL”
Dear friends and dear friends
il 2026 brings with it three good reasons to spend an unforgettable weekend in Soave.
The first is that our festival will celebrate its own jubilee. The next one will in fact be there 25per edition of an event that has never had and still has no equal in Italy and far beyond our borders.
The second is an anniversary that every citizen will celebrate with great love and respect. They will in fact have passed 80 years dal 1946, the year in which the Italians expressed themselves with a referendum on the form of state and, abandoned the monarchy, they chose for our country to become the Italian Republic. Such an important anniversary could not fail to receive due prominence, and for this reason we have chosen to dedicate the celebratory guitar and the poster to you. And so once again the friend Renzo Pagliani he was able to interpret the theme in a solemn way, with a touch of lightness at the same time, as befits an event that marked a new and happy beginning for our history. The front of the instrument reports, against the background of the tricolor, the symbol of the Republic, while the back shows the text of our national anthem in the original handwriting of Goffredo Mameli, when – we were in 1847 – he titled it “The song of the Italians”. As per tradition, this beautiful instrument will be raffled off among all those who purchase a ticket to attend the evening concerts. The winning number will be drawn at the end of the concert on Sunday 26 April. If the lucky winner will be in the room, the guitar will be delivered to him with our congratulations. However, if it is not present, No problem. The lucky ticket number will be published on the "News" page and on our social networks, and the winner will have until 15 May to be recognized and come to collect the instrument. If no one shows up by this date, the guitar will no longer be assigned.
The third is that with this edition the Soave Guitar Festival will close its doors forever and will be definitively consigned to history. Therefore, after the final evening on Sunday 26 April 2026 I won't say "goodbye" anymore, but I will give you the final "goodbye", with the conviction of having offered you for many years an appointment that we have all grown with love and which has given us truly unforgettable moments. Precisely because it is no longer possible for us to raise the bar beyond the levels we have reached, It's good that we say goodbye in style, without regrets, and that each of us, keeping in his heart the memory of many incredible moments, can say "I was there too... the festival also existed thanks to me... it was mine too!”. Precisely for this reason I thank you very much for sharing with me, with all the friends who helped me, with those in the various municipal administrations that have followed one another who believed in it, the project to make Soave the "City of the Guitar". I also thank those who hindered this beautiful dream, which was also by the never forgotten Marcel Dadi, to whose memory this event has been dedicated since 1997. Yes, because adversity spurs you to always do better and not to give arguments to those who not only don't have dreams of their own, but he also often works hard to put others into crisis.
Having said all this, and counting on seeing many of you here, I confirm that this last event will also take place in the four classic moments:
- Guitar exhibition/market, at the Captain's Palace, Via G. Camuzzoni, 8 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with opening from 10.30 all 18.00 and last entry deadline at 17.00).

Like I just said, the beautiful tradition of welcome dinner to the artists who will animate the festival will be renewed again this year. We will therefore meet once again at the restaurant "At the Shrimp” on Saturday evening 25 April. Dinner will start at 19.00 (access to the restaurant from 18.40, in order to allow everyone to take their seats comfortably) and will end at 20.40. In this way, those of you who participate will have plenty of time to go to the Auditorium (just a few minutes walk away) and attend the concert. The local authorities and many of you will welcome our guests, within the expected number, they will book their participation.
To the delight of the friends of our event at the festival Secretariat, at the entrance to the Exhibition/Market (Captain's Palace), it will be possible to purchase the new DVD of the concerts of the latest edition 2025, of the previous one 2024 and all those made by 2005 al 2013 (the latter relates to the Vicenza edition of the festival) with the best of all those evening concerts. Those of the concerts held by some of our guests at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza will also be available. Whoever purchases one of these DVDs will receive the “Soave 2004 Guitar Festival”, very rare document, because it has never been and still is not for sale. You can also purchase CDs and other products that will be offered by our guest artists.
To those who want to participate in the festival and not have problems, including the disappointment of finding oneself excluded due to lack of places, I suggest purchasing admission to all the activities that interest you here on the site under the "Tickets" menu item (Show, Seminars, Concerts and Saturday dinner with the artists). The service is managed by MailTicket. Here are the prices:
- Concerts – 30 euro (every concert)
- Seminars – 30 euro (validity 3 days)
- Exhibition/Market – 15 euro (validity 3 days)
- Cena Saturday 25 April – 35 euro (specify any intolerances)
While there are no problems with numerical limits for entry to the Exhibition/Market, I remind you that there are strict limits to the following accesses:
- Seminars 130 places in total
- Concerts 581 places for evening
- Cena on Saturday 25 April 80 places
The electronic ticket purchasing system will automatically block once the indicated quantities have been reached. I therefore suggest you purchase the tickets you are interested in in advance, because safety and quality issues in carrying out the planned activities will not allow exceptions. Please also carefully read the instructions under the "Tickets" menu item, and to follow them scrupulously in order to avoid unpleasant inconveniences and waste of time when entering the various venues where the events that interest you will take place.

I thank the CANTINA ROCCA SVEVA, which will also host evening concerts in this edition of the festival, GUITAR CLUB, RADIO BIRKINA, CHAMBER OF COMMERCE INDUSTRY CRAFTS AGRICULTURE OF VERONA and DESTINATION VERONA GARDA FOUNDATION for the support they have given us and are giving us in making awareness of our event and its contents increasingly widespread. Special thanks to our friends Chiara and Alberto Coffele, who for many years have welcomed our guests in the historic building in Via Roma, also home to the prestigious family winery of the same name, offering them moments of wonderful conviviality.
