Pau Figueres
Phenomenal guitarist born in Barcelona in 1989. His mastery of all musical languages and a proverbial good taste transform his guitar into a fascinating instrument that expresses itself with the naturalness of a living being. His music, with the flamenco guitar as the undisputed protagonist, transcends this genre thanks to an ingenious concept of form and harmony, rhythm and beat, the result of a brilliant fusion between tradition and contemporaneity.
Going even further, Pau investigates beyond the guitar itself, integrating the natural touch of the nail and fingers with a very creative use of the synthesizer, through which he carefully manages his guitar, giving the music rich textures and sounds typical of modern times, but also rooted in the jazz tradition of recent decades. His debut album “Pau Figueres” (Whatabout Music), published in 2015, it was highly appreciated by critics and audiences, winning the Enderrock Award for Best Folk Album of 2016.
In the 2018 public “Nothing New Under The Sun” (K satellite), premiered live at the Fira Mediterrània in Manresa, an album that consolidates him as a composer and where he shines as an excellent instrumentalist.
In the 2024 public “BEAT” (K satellite), a record in which he masterfully combines tradition and innovation.

Brilliant interpreter of his music, he is also highly regarded as a collaborator and producer. In the 2023 e 2024 he toured internationally with the Portuguese artist MARO as a member of his Trio, and from 2019 al 2022 toured extensively with award-winning Spanish artist Alejandro Sanz, both tours that earned him international fame.
Throughout his career, his guitar has been sought after by an extraordinary array of world-renowned artists, including Rufus Wainwright, Silvia Perez Cruz, Hayley Reardon, C. Tangana, Mayte Martin, Carlos Benavent, Judit Neddermann, Vic Mirallas, Alfonso of Villallonga, Juan de la Rubia or Tal Ben Ari, just to name a few.
He started playing a 7 years old and began working as a live and studio guitarist at the age of 16 years. Since then he has taken part in countless recording sessions and collaborated with very different artists in terms of style and musical context.
He performed as a classical guitar soloist, as soloist with orchestra, in chamber music ensembles, group rock, choristers, in jazz groups, world music e pop, ecc. He has played with some of the most acclaimed musicians in Spain and has performed and recorded all over the world.
