Alberto Lombardi

Alberto Lombardi is an eclectic guitarist. Defined as "Italian Fingerstyle Master" by the American magazine Acoustic Guitar, transitions effortlessly from an acoustic tour fingerstyle con Tommy Emmanuel (2022) to a record of songs rock made with the legendary sound engineer of Springsteen e Rolling Stones, Bob Clearmountain (“Home” – 2020).

In this solo show he mixes his two musical souls in a fascinating and original way.

In addition to playing his arrangements of great classics on acoustics, from the Beatles to Modugno, Alberto uses the Stratocaster to color them with lyrical rock solos, or even to play them entirely.

All this thanks to the expert use of loops and a minimum of electronics.

The repertoire ranges from ours Fly, You want to be an American, At least you In the universe, ai Beatles e Sting, and Stevie Wonder to rock greats like Supertramp and Jeff Beck.

Lombardi's past collaborations are many and diverse.

As well as with Tommy Emmanuel, toured with the International Guitar Night of Peter Finger, con Muriel Anderson, Tim Sparks, but also in electric with the original singers of CHIC o Robbie Dupree.

He published for Stefan Grossman 4 teaching methods e 3 acoustic guitar album (Finger/Grossman) which have received enthusiastic reviews from important guitar magazines such as Acoustic Guitar and Vintage Guitar.

In January of 2020 Alberto concluded his first tour of the USA and has been a guest at almost all the major Italian acoustic guitar festivals (Sarzana, Madame Guitar, Ferentino, ADGPA etc). He also played for illustrious institutions such as the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust e The Italian institute of Culture in LA.

Alberto is the brands' "featured artist". Carpet Guitars, B&G guitars, Kissing capos and Fred Kelly picks.

As a session musician he played with many Italian artists such as Barbarossa, of Cataldo, Groff, Bertè, Alan Sorrenti, Tony Esposito, from the small club to the Olympic stadium in Rome, to San Siro, and at the Pavillao Antico in Lisbon.

And 25 For years he has been producing records for himself and other artists in his studio, Belairstudio to the Castelli Romani.
